Furman University junior Cameron Ponder joins DyeStat editor Doug Binder to discuss his upcoming 3,000 meters at the Camel City Invitational in Winston-Salem, N.C.. It's a homecoming for Ponder, who went to high school at Mount Tabor NC and has raced on the 200-meter flat track at JDL Fast Track many times. Ponder is enjoying a breakout indoor season with a pair of sub-four miles and a facility record in the 3,000 at South Carolina (7:55.15). Ponder is looking forward to a possibility of qualifying for the NCAA Indoor Championships and also running at the NCAA Cross Country Championships on the same weekend in mid-March.
